Rife International recognized as 2015 Small Business of the Year by Montgomery County DED

plaqueRife International was recently honored as the recipient of the “2015 Small Business of the Year” award at the 3rd annual Montgomery County Small Business Awards Luncheon hosted by the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development.
Held at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, the event was a huge success as attendees enjoyed networking, visiting exhibitors and the inspiring keynote speech by Danny Farrar, CEO and founder of SoldierFit.
County Executive Ike Leggett, along with Montgomery County Council President George Leventhal, Department of Economic Development Acting Director Sally Sternbach, Deputy Secretary of the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development Benjamin Wu and District Director, U.S. Small Business Administration, Washington Metropolitan Area Office, Antonio Doss recognized the accomplishments of the recipients.
“Small businesses make up 95 percent of the companies in Montgomery County, and we are committed to supporting their efforts and recognizing their successes,” said Leggett.  “Today is a chance to honor the hard working men and women of this County who drive job growth and form the bedrock of our economic community.”
