Following the AmCham Business Summit in Nairobi, momentum for innovation and collaboration grew even stronger with the launch of Cisco’s Cybersecurity Technology Experience Center at the University of Nairobi. This cutting-edge initiative is a key step toward cybersecurity skills development in Kenya, bridging the gap between academic training and industry demands.

The event welcomed notable guests, including Prosper Africa Coordinator British Robinson, alongside prominent private and public sector leaders. This launch represents a significant milestone in Cisco’s regional strategy to build cyber resilience and cultivate a digitally skilled workforce.

Closing the Cyber Talent Gap in Africa

This center is part of a broader push by Cisco to co-create sustainable cybersecurity ecosystems across the continent.
