This cutting-edge initiative is a key step toward cybersecurity skills development in Kenya, bridging the gap between academic training and industry demands.
The event welcomed notable guests, including Prosper Africa Coordinator British Robinson, alongside prominent private and public sector leaders. This launch represents a significant milestone in Cisco’s regional strategy to build cyber resilience and cultivate a digitally skilled workforce.
Closing the Cyber Talent Gap in Africa
This center is part of a broader push by Cisco to co-create sustainable cybersecurity ecosystems across the continent. With real-world tools and immersive training, students in Kenya will now gain firsthand experience needed to respond to emerging cyber threats, supporting both national and regional security objectives.
The initiative builds on Cisco’s global Networking Academy, which provides learners with certifications and digital training aligned to today’s job market. Together, these efforts promote economic development and cybersecurity leadership across Africa.
