Job Summary
RIFE International is seeking an experienced Country Director to lead its operations in South Africa. This role requires strategic oversight, stakeholder engagement, and operational leadership across clean energy, sustainability, and infrastructure initiatives. The Country Director will be responsible for driving impact, ensuring high-performance project delivery, and aligning regional operations with RIFE’s global mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for RIFE’s operations in South Africa.
- Cultivate relationships with government agencies, development partners, and industry leaders.
- Oversee project delivery, compliance, and financial oversight.
- Ensure operational alignment with RIFE’s global goals and mission.
- Lead local teams and build organizational capacity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 10-15 years of senior leadership experience in clean energy, sustainability or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong understanding of South Africa’s regulatory and energy landscape.
- Strong strategic planning, operational, stakeholder management, team building, and communication skills.
- Ability to represent RIFE at national and international levels.
