Project Overview

RIFE International collaborated with the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) for a 5-year (60-month) project to support the state’s energy efficiency, sustainable energy development, and renewable energy initiatives. This project, titled “Energy Programs Feasibility Studies/Technical Support Provider – MEA Maryland Energy Administration,” involved: 

Comprehensive studies: Evaluating existing energy efficiency technologies and identifying potential savings. 

Policy development: Crafting a robust policy framework to underpin MEA’s diverse energy programs. 

Technical support: Providing hands-on assistance with program implementation and policy analysis. 

RIFE Solutions

RIFE International’s impact transcended assessments and analyses. The project actively contributed to:

  • Promoting clean energy: Supporting the development and implementation of programs like Maryland Net Zero Schools and the Maryland Smart Energy Community program.
  • Environmental responsibility: Addressing climate concerns by fostering the adoption of clean energy solutions.
  • Economic growth: Creating green-collar jobs and promoting energy independence in Maryland.
  • Program success: RIFE International directly contributed to the success of various programs, including EmPOWER, Grants, Loans, Multi-family housing retrofits, Home Performance with ENERGY STAR, and more.
