RIFE International is proud to partner with Montgomery County on a groundbreaking initiative to enhance energy efficiency across multiple facilities. As one of two selected contractors, RIFE International has played a pivotal role in modernizing lighting systems and upgrading energy infrastructure, significantly reducing the county’s carbon footprint and operational costs.
Montgomery County enlisted RIFE International to spearhead the transformation of their lighting systems under the PEPCO Small Business Program. Our mandate was to secure maximum rebate funds and implement the most cost-effective solutions for each facility. This extensive project involved a meticulous evaluation of rebate programs and a strategic mix of retrofitting, re-lamping, and installing new fixtures. Our team’s efforts spanned a diverse array of sites, including libraries, warehouses, community centers, and public safety buildings.
Under the supervision of Master Electricians, we ensured the selection and installation of optimal products tailored to each location’s unique needs. Additionally, RIFE International met the project’s ambitious goal of a 25% MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) participation, reflecting our commitment to diversity and community engagement.
The Montgomery County IDIQ Lighting & Energy Systems Upgrade Services project stands as a testament to RIFE International’s dedication to sustainability and excellence. Through strategic planning, advanced technology, and a commitment to quality, we have helped Montgomery County achieve significant energy savings, totaling 3 million kWh. These efforts not only reduce operational costs but also contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly community. RIFE International continues to lead in delivering high-impact, energy-efficient solutions, supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy and fostering long-term environmental stewardship.
