RIFE International successfully completed a comprehensive 18-month upgrade project for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC), the water utility serving the District of Columbia. This project encompassed a wide range of upgrades, aiming to:
- Enhance facility efficiency: Replacement of outdated air conditioners, HVAC systems, and lighting fixtures, along with the installation of more efficient technologies, significantly improved operational efficiency.
- Elevate safety standards: Installation of fire alarms, wet pipe sprinklers, and an automatic transfer switch (ATS) power distribution system bolstered safety measures throughout the facility.
- Modernize infrastructure: Transformer upgrades, panel board replacements, and masonry enhancements revitalized the facility’s infrastructure, ensuring long-term functionality and reliability.
