RIFE CEO Appointed to U.S. Department of Commerce Energy Committee

 

Washington, DC – May 5, 2021 – United States Secretary of Commerce, Gina M. Raimondo, has appointed RIFE International President and CEO, Kwabena Osei-Sarpong, to the 2021 United States Department of Commerce Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee (REEEAC). According to the Department of Commerce website, The REEEAC shall advise the Secretary regarding the development and administration of programs and policies to expand the competitiveness of U.S. exports of renewable energy and energy efficiency goods and services, in accordance with applicable United States regulations.”

Kwabena Osei-Sarpong, President and CEO of RIFE International said, “I am honored and humbled to receive this appointment, not only as an advocate for climate change and preserving our beautiful Earth for generations to come, but also as a thought leader representing excellence in Black leadership within the fields of sustainability and renewable energy.
