RIFE commits $5,000 to Support the Street Children Project in Ghana

As part of RIFE’s commitment to community development, the company made a donation to the Street Children Project (SCP) in Kumasi-Ghana. This donation will contribute to the development and make available educational material for children rescued by the project.

The Street Children Project is managed by the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul. Street Children Project (SCP) is a Non-governmental and Non-profit making organization concerned about the plight of vulnerable children, particularly young girls who live and work on the streets of Kumasi, Ghana. The Project was established in 2005 by the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi to address the needs of helpless children (male and female) 6 months – 18 years who live on the streets of Kumasi.

President & CEO of RIFE International Kwabena Osei-Sarpong had this to say when asked about the company’s decision to make the donation to SCP “After we heard their story and the great job they have done so far, our team joined in to collaborate and help. With our help and donations, these homeless children receive shelter, education, healthcare and lots of the many necessities of life most of us take for granted.”
